Would They Hide You?

Warren Buffet (CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, one of the most successful investors of all time) is a believer that if you measure yourself solely based on what you have, you’ll end up in trouble.

A reporter once asked him to elaborate on that.

He told the story of a Polish woman who was captured and in the worst camp in Germany in WW2 and some of her family members didn’t make it out.

And she once told him: ‘’Warren, I’m very slow to make friends because when I look at them, the question I ask is would they hide me?’’

So Warren says that if you get to be his age and you have a lot of people who’d hide you, which is another way of saying people who deeply love you, you’ll be a success and you know you’re a success.

He continues saying that he’s never seen anyone who has a lot of people who love them who’s unhappy but he has seen many people with a lot of money who’re unhappy.

Some food for thought for y’all today. Put in the WORK but find and spend time with people ‘’who would hide you’’.

You’re not here for very long.
